This Scandinavian terrestrial globe has a brass calibrated half meridian and it is raised on a turned spindle on a wooden base with an ebony finish. This is a very impressive and unusual globe and it rare to find a globe at such a size. It was published by the Wahlstrom & Widstand company and the cartography was provided by D. Reimers from Berlin. The sea currents are depicted and on land, many rivers and highland areas are identified.
