This British terrestrial globe has a brass calibrated and it is raised on an elaborately carved wooden spindle with four legs. It has a scale of one inch = 660miles and the political boundaries of countries are marked by the use of colour. The currents and drifts have been marked and the directions that they flow shown with arrows. An Analemma Equation shows the difference of time between the clock and the sun as well as the Suns declination for every day of the year. The ecliptic line swathes the globe and the Equinoctial Colure is marked. Railways, Isothermal lines and cables are also denoted.
