Philips' Plan of Liverpool and the Adjoining Cheshire Coast
A large, linen-backed folding city plan of Liverpool and adjacent parts of Merseyside, including Birkenhead, Tranmere, and Everton. The map is exceptionally detailed with virtually every building in the city marked. It also features an elaborate neo-classical border and uses vibrant printed colour to delineate the township boundaries. There is a numbered index of churches, public buildings, and railway stations which identifies and locates almost 200 landmark locations on the map.
