This map has been made in Tallis' inimitable style with several vignettes adorning the sea. It was engraved by J. Rapkin, who was responsible for all of Tallis' maps and in this case, the illustrations were by Wray and Allen.
The position of Corfu, here seemingly placed south of Zante is misleading, as it is in an inset.
There is a small amount of spotting on the map. Please examine the image carefully. Original colour. [GRC1899]
