Description:
Early London Tube map, one of the first to show all of the lines together under the now-iconic London Underground branding. The lines are drawn geographically.

This charming map is one of the earliest maps of the unified Underground network. A panel in the centre left keys the main lines, dividing the railways and the electric lines. A marked step forward from the map of 1908, it was widely distributed in “Cook’s Handbook for London” and published by Thomas Cook and Son. It is also the first map to bear the distinctive “Underground” logo.

Printed colour. [LDN6084]
