Description:

|
Copper-engraved chart of the Bay of Fundy showing the coasts of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, with sailing instructions and a large inset of the harbour of Annapolis Royal. Churches, houses, windmills, forts, and other notable landmarks which could be used for navigation are marked on the chart.
The sailing guide in the lower-left corner specifically mentions the Bay of Fundy's enormous tidal range, the largest in the world. The chart was made from observations collected by Nathaniel Blackmore at the special command of Queen Anne.
