Beautiful map of Normandy from the early 18th century with an overlapping engraved flap on the upper right illustrating the region of the Pays de Caux.
Geographically, the map is not based on de L'Isle, the orthodox source at this time, rather it most resembles a map of the region by Le Clerc issued in 1620 together with Nicholas de Fer's map of the region issued in 1705 or later.
