Separately issued linen backed folding map of London illustrated with multiple vignettes.
This is one of the most attractive of Bacon's "Picture Maps". It is a schematic, with the emphasis on the main roads, railways and places and buildings of interest in the city, many of which are illustrated.
There were various versions of it, with later editions adding a "sightseeing route" and another edition adding a "route to Wembley" which was a reference to the British Empire Exhibition of 1924.
