Henry Teesdale
183 x 229 cm
An enormous folding wall map of Yorkshire, linen-backed in three sections, with a large vignette of York Cathedral and featuring an exquisite level of detail.
This map is based on surveys conducted in 1817 originally by the Greenwood brothers, but also includes updates and revisions to 1827-28 made by Teesdale.
This is one of the largest and most detailed county maps of Yorkshire ever published.
Original hand-colour. [YORKS1031]
