This special edition of the London Underground map was published in 1966 to celebrate England hosting the World Cup. The front of the folding pamphlet shows that year’s mascot, World Cup Willie, whilst the back had specific instructions about how to reach Wembley Stadium and the White City Stadium, either by Underground or by bus. As it was only printed for a very limited period, this map is uncommon on the open market and has become quite collectible for Tube Map and World Cup enthusiasts alike.
This map is framed alongside a regular 1966 pamphlet map so that both sides of the map are visible in the frame.
