Jaro Hess
46 x 66 cm
Panoramic pictorial map by the celebrated artist Jaro Hess focusing on the major events of the New Testament.
This is a companion piece to Hess' more celebrated map, "The Land of Make Believe".
This map has a vast panoramic scope, placing important Biblical locations in relation to each other as well as adding Biblical captions on certain parts of hte landscape; these include the location of the Parable of the Prodigal Son, the location of the Feeding of the Multitudes and the location of the Sermon on the Mount.
Extremely attractive, Hess' maps have become more and more in demand over the last few decades. Consequently, they have also become harder to obtain.
This is a mid 20th century re-issue of the map which was first published in the 1930s. Original colour. [MEAST4877]
