Bright and attractive souvenir map celebrating the Football Association Challenge Cup and the Football League Cup.
This large poster type map of England and Wales bears multiple charts and lists of soccer achievements of the great clubs of the League. Prominence is given to the two knockout trophies, now known as the F. A. Cup and the Carabao Cup but it also shows the winners of the Divisions as well as relegation and promotion achievements.
The map itself shows the location of all the major clubs. An elaborate illustrated border shows portraits of great players.
Designed by J. Barnett and produced for the firm of Leaf and Urney as a colourful commemoration of early 1970s football. The lists stop at 1971, the year of a memorable double for Arsenal, when they won both the League and F. A. Cups.
