Queenhithe & Vintry Wards, the area between Cannon St and Mansion House around the north end of Southwark Bridge.
Published in William Maitland's The History of London, from its Foundation by the Romans to the present time..., but derived from an earlier map first printed in the 1720 edition of John Stow's seminal A Survey of London, edited by John Strype. The 1720 edition was the first issue of Stow's important history of London to include maps. Maitland's maps are slightly larger and more decorative than those found in the Strype edition.
