This fine, large plan of Dublin was issued several times over the period of the late 19th century to the early 20th century. It was primarily aimed at travelers to the city, with a convenient list of major hotels on the upper right corner.
The numerous red lines on the map indicated he routes of the Dublin Tramways, at its height by the date of the map. It declined in the 1920s with the introduction of buses. Another line, (dashes) shows the limits of the cab companies in the city.
As usual with schematic maps of this type, it only shows main streets together with major landmarks.
