Arabia and Persia (Iran), along with parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan. The territories of various Arabian tribes are marked, where they were known to Westerners. Much of Arabia remains an uncharted empty space.
Despite this paucity of knowledge, some of the names on the map are relatable to the modern day: these include "El Hassa" which is a reference to the modern Al-Ahsa Governorate and "El Kasym" which corresponds to modern Al-Qassim Province. Geographically, these two areas approximately correspond to their modern locations.
