A charming plan of Aberdeen, illustrated with Tallis's characteristic vignettes and enclosed within a decorative border.
The main vignette on the lower right is a panoramic view of Aberdeen which is complemented by another image in the upper right showing Castle Street. Three smaller vignettes are also present, a ship, Old Don Bridge and North Church on King Street. These were provided by H. Winkles. Another point of interest is the prominence given to the "Proposed Great North of Scotland Railway".
