Although dated 1855, this is the unusual 3rd state of the map issued in 1857. It does not have the distinctive Colton spiral border and it is the first commercially printed atlas map to show any concept of Central Park. In this case, it is still only a green space inside the city as the layout within the park has not been determined. Coloured. [USA9763]
