Vintage Swedish cartographic travel poster advertising Sweden as a tourist destination.
The poster has been produced in the pictorial style initially pioneered by Macdonald Gill in the early 20th century but followed by many artists since. It bears an emphasis on fun, whimsy and a delightful experience. Multiple activities are advertised including fishing, beaches, skiing, tobogganing and for the more adventurous, even excursions to the Polar Circle.
