First issued by Edward Stanford in the 1860s and frequently updated to show new information, the Library Map of Africa has become one of the most important cartographic records of the European exploration, colonization, and exploitation of Africa. This is the 1920 'new edition', updated to show the latest information and with brighter colour than early editions. The map is enormously detailed and endlessly fascinating - the longer you look, the more you see.
Bright original colour. Folded. [AFR6287]
