This map of Hong Kong and its New Territories was issued by the well known publisher, Ye Olde Printerie.
The map is a close copy of an earlier map published by Waterlow and Sons in 1920. However, this earlier map was focused on showing the location of the police stations on the island and the Territories.
This later map omits the police stations and focuses more on the geography and the course of the roads and railways.
Ye Olde Printerie was founded in Hong Kong in 1923 by the Labrum brothers from Warminster. They established a sterling reputation as printers and publishers and counted the Royal Asiatic Society and the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce among their customers.
