Early map of New South Wales based on the surveys of the Colonial Office and the Australian Agricultural Company.
This is one of the earliest editions available of this map, with the westernmost counties only stretching as far as Georgiana, Wellington and Bathurst. Later editions would show the surveys of the colony as it spread to the west. On this map, the western regions are relatively unknown beyond the counties mentioned. A small inset of Sydney is present on the lower right corner.
Although dated 1833, this example was actually issued in the 1844 edition of the work.
