A map of Russia's western border provinces, including Belgorod, Novgorod, Smolensk, Kursk, Bryansk, and Pskov, as well as the Duchies of Estonia and Latvia, and the Ukrainian province of Poltava. At the time of publishing, all of this area was under the control of the Russian Empire. Typical of Zatta's maps, there is a large, decorative title cartouche featuring a scenic landscape.
