A rare and vibrant pictorial map of Europe published as an educational board game for children. A series of numbers are scattered across the map ranging from 1 (Iceland) to 123 (London). Players were expected to travel from the start point in Iceland across Europe in an attempt to return home to London. At each stopping point, players would encounter a handsome illustrated vignette and learn a fact about that location. A whale hunt in the Arctic Ocean, a Winter carnival in Russia, porcelain making in Saxony, a volcanic eruption in Sicily, and a bullfight in Madrid are amongst the illustrated details.
