Map to Illustrate Major E.W. Nesham's Paper on the Alaska Boundary Demarcation

A map of the Alaska-Canada border showing the routes of the commission sent to officially demarcate the border between 1906 and 1914. The map covers parts of Alaska, British Columbia, and Yukon, and it includes the cities and towns of Fairbanks, Juneau, Whitehorse, Skagway, and Cordova. Railways, roads, and telegraph lines are marked.

This map was published in the Journal of the Royal Geographical Society to illustrate a paper submitted by Major E.W. Nesham about the boundary demarcation. Nesham had been a surveyor on the Alaska Boundary Demarcation, so the map is based on first-hand accounts, albeit a decade or so later.
