New Map of Europe exhibiting Natural and Political Divisions

Folding wall map of Europe showing the continent just as tensions were beginning to mount after the peace negotiated at the end the Napoleonic War. The map is attractive, and dated to additions to 1855, as the Crimean War was raging on the northern shores of the Black Sea. The new political divisions include the nascent modern state of Greece and the Austrian Empire at its territorial height, again after the defeat of Napoleon while Prussia has grown from a small region on the coast of the Baltic Sea to a major power in its own right. Western Prussia and the multiple German States are now all shown as the Germanic Confederation, a co-operative body of German speaking states who combined for economic reasons.
